Wheel Bug Rap
Your nose is a hypodermic needle,
Your back has wings to fly,
Your legs have hooks to grasp your prey,
And hold them till they die.
(Chorus)
They call you wheel bug,
Cause your back is a wheel,
It's shape is kinda rough.
You're a real bug
With wings, six legs,
And lots of other insect stuff.
Your head is shaped like two arrows,
Upon it are a beak and three eyes,
With two feelers of red, you're a sight to dread!
Mr. Wheel Bug you're a scary guy.
Chorus
Your beak extends like a pen knife
It's pointed and hollow and kills
It's a a real poison pen ... but there's more!
It's a straw to drink your meals.
Chorus
The wheel bug looks prehistoric,
But he's only one inch long,
I'm glad he's a bug and I'm not one,
And that's the end of this song.
Your back has wings to fly,
Your legs have hooks to grasp your prey,
And hold them till they die.

When Roots Grow Up
Grow down is the motto of all good roots,
Grow up is what some do.
For wouldn't you not rather
Grow up too?
Some trees extend their roots,
As deep as they can go,
Like children digging to China,
Ever down they grow.
When roots end up in China,
Growing down is through.
Such roots emerge as branches
And wear a leafy do!

Red-headed Agama
Did the little Agama vote McCain or OBama?
In his head you know he is red
In his heart he's blue
With so much contradiction
What will Agama do?

Come again!
Gone is the thistle, freshly fallen.
Gone are spiny stems and purple petals.
Far flung the seeds of nettle
By finch and autumn breezes.
Come again thistle; come springtime!
Come with gifts of nectar and pollen!
Until then sleep the seed
So freshly fallen.

Fallen are the flowers
That gave glory to God.
Faded are the petals,
Of white and black.
No more pollen or nectar
Only seed remains.
Fallen are the seeds of Martins refrain.

The Lines Allign
Fragments of images, moments in time,
Traverse the vastness of my mind.
Fragments of images like rays of the sun.
Pixels erupting, shot from a gun.
Coming together as feelings unwind,
Slapping colors, flashing lights, marching lines.
Coming together as body and blood,
Taking shape as points align.
Playing out feelings, notions unsaid,
Daubs of emotion from crease to cranium.
Playing out feelings for all to see
Striations from the gyra of my mind.
