I love magnolias and you captured this bud perfectly. I have a tree of them in my garden and right after Christmas I cut some twigs and they bloom for me fairly quickly indoors. A bit of cheating and having spring early but too often for my taste the fresh blossoms are taken by late frosts outside. Nice blog you have and I do like your words to go with the pictures.
