Concealed from mortal eye,
Mysteries of mountain lake lie.
Reflection of sunny skies.
Portal of paradise.

True Friends
True friends glory in your happiness,
And suffer when you are sad.
True friends share the good times and the bad.
True friends might lie to protect your feelings,
But never to bring you down.
True friends are faithful and always around.
Giving freely without expectation,
True friends are rare like precious gems.
Thank God for true friends.

Lady in the Light
At eventide Helios is spent.
With golden brush he gilds the sea.
Toward the west fiery arrows are sent.
A lone surfer defies sunset.
Soaking in his rays like a deep breath,
She exhales her silhouette!

Might Be Mite
The little aphid is in the insect class,
It spews honeydew out its little anus.
Small they be, you might say, "Out of sight."
Small they be, "About as small as a mite."
Insects are cut into sections,
This entomologists know,
Head on top,
Thorax in the middle,
Abdomen below.
Many bugs in the world there are.
Fifty million species counted so far.
Each insect has six legs,
A hidious sight!
If it has eight,
Then it might be a mite.
